David Gunter Artist Bio:
A Fine Artist/Illustrator that Paints Traditional in Oils/Acrylics on Canvas and Digital Art. Gunter earned a BFA degree from Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio. Freelanced for twenty years as a Professional Illustrator for many top corporate clients, retailers, Advertising Agencies in Atlanta.
Few years later he started painting commission assignments for different Art Publishers. They mass-produced his Oils and Acrylics Paintings as Open Edition Prints. Themes such as Music, Figuratives, Spirituality, Florals, Scenery/Landscapes, Abstracts for the National/International Fine Print markets. Gunter has written/Illustrated Publish Fiction and Children's Books.
A self taught Lead/Rhythm Guitarist with twenty-three Years of Blues/Funk and Jazz Music experiences. He has Jam with Blues/Jazz Bands on stage at many night Clubs and outdoors Shows/Events. Performed mostly around Atlanta, Fulton County, Decatur Ga. Back in the seventy when Rap/Hip Hop were in its early stages he went to many shows/loved the music, but decided to stay in Blues/Funk music. Gunter's contributes to the Hip Hop/Rap Culture by expressing the Beats/Music through visual Paintings, etc. Studio located in Newnan Ga. thirty minutes from Atlanta.
